When Treasure Chests explode with Eevee and Cycles!

This effect comes from the Treasure Chest - Blender 2.8 course trailer where the chest bursts open sending a large number of coins flying into the air in a bullet-time slow-down. There's a lot of Blender tips and tricks to pick up along the way including rigid body simulation, slowing down time in the middle of an animation/simulation, lighting and rendering for Eevee, as well as "hybrid rendering" for simultaneously extracting a vector pass from Cycles and applying to motion blur to your Eevee renders.

An Advanced Blender 2.8 Tutorial

This free tutorial is an advanced overview of the workflow that created this effect. By "advanced" I mean that it's concise: Largely time-lapsed with commentary that hits on key-points of the process. It assumes the viewer knows how to use Blender well.
