How did you generate other maps (roughness, normal, etc)?

I noticed your sketchfab asset has normal, roughness, and metalness maps.  I am curious how this is usually done in the game pipeline.  Did you somehow generate them from your color map?  Did you hand paint them like in the tower defense course? I see lots of hand painted stuff on sketchfab with fancy normal maps and I am not sure the best way to go about generating those maps.  Thanks!
