Hi everyone!
Is it possible in Blender to rig a squash and stretch character like this one without using a lattice deformer, and still get the same flexibility in motion?

For a 2D character rigging I can't think of a course or video off the top of my head.
For a 3D character like that you can use the ball rig and then add the arms and legs. For the ball rig
