Wintry Landscape Final

* A few changes were made, this is my final render. My attempt on Kent's live event 'Wintry Landscape' from the 29th of January. (thanks for the inspiration and input) I also tried more to use procedural shading, but struggled with the ice cracks. Still not happy with the final composition, any suggestion? Rendered in Eevee.

  • Thank you for feedback. I'll give another try ;) !

  • I really like the glints of light off the water. I think you need more variety in the rocks; maybe make a couple of rocks with complex rock shapes that can be rotated at a variety of angles so it looks like diverse selection of rocks. Also, the rocks right now look sort of like pillows or empanadas, so I'd look at some "rockier" reference.

  • Nice atmosphere. I think you need to adjust noise scale of the snow. Looking on the right mountain noise looks too big. Try to add thickness and a bit of refraction to the ice. Maybe a bit of subsurface scatter would help, but i am not 100% sure how it will look.
