  • Moving it all to one layer did the Job, Thanx a lot, you're a life saver!!! :)

  • oh ok, think i need to my it all to one layer, i haven't tried that. I used that python script but kept giving me errors, maybe i had a typo somewhere, ill give it another go, thanx man :)

  • I did use the texture atlas and the finish manual unwrap worked fine. I just have to mention that on a certain moment I had some artifacting on the mesh which was caused by the individual pieces (textureatlas made a whole new object while in "manual unwrap" mode) and I moved them to another layer. When I tried the finish manual unwrap, I got a bunch of errors. It worked again after I moved the individual pieces back to the same layer.
Unhiding the mirrored section is done by the piece of python code that is explained in the course. Kent uses this code with that button, but he also explained how to use it in the console (de code is lost after you close and reopen the file).

  • hey it looks great, nice Job!!! quick question, did you use the texture atlas as kent used it? If so did, did the "Finishmanualunrap" work for you? and how did you unhide the mirrrored section without the Button Kent uses to unhide them?
