Been working on this for a while super happy with how it turned out. I spent a while trying to get the vines on the grass to look how I wanted, I hope you all like it.
frikkr I thought of the vines on the grass and lighthouse as the parasites was going for a semi sci-fi feel and the way I did it was basically using the ivy gen on the ground and then moving clumps of it in edit mode to look like its flowing over the grass :)
Very nice work :) , may I ask how you ended up achieving the vines on the grass? It is a nice effect.
Also , I see the piece is called Parasite. Is that to do with the strange object on the railings of the light house on the left? If so , then my only criticism would be that I think you need to enhance the story telling a bit to get that idea across.
