Mogu - in game design Final

So I've decided to go with a more hand painted look with a bit of a metallic sheen since the mobits are metal and the overall theme of the game is whimsical. I'm happy with the changes to the colors and really love how the "Spore plasma" stands out! Tell me what you think!

  • ullreym thank you so much! I chose to just do a sort of indent instead of like a visible socket for the shoulders. I did it mostly because I didn't want to deform the silhouette I originally drew too much and such a small detail in game won't really be noticeable. in the high poly model i added a little more detail for in game cinematics. I appreciate your feedback.

  • Beautiful work. The mushroom top reminds me of a military hat from the 1700's. The "visual handshake" between the shoulders and the main body seems to be missing or maybe it is really tight? The textures and materials are delightful. The sparkles in the paint are really nice.

    I think the central of his hat is too flat,may be you should add some slope at the center of his hat to make it much more like mushroom.

    Adding some more of white grain on the central of his hat might be able to draw some more attention.

    His eye are too flat as well,May be you did not model his eyes ? just painting right ?

    You should add some depth on his eyes as well,may be normal map or height map.

    The bolts as well, if you could add some depth would be nice.
