First finished animation in blender, by tutorial.
I slightly changed the settings and created an eevee-possible flame by integrating an orange spotlight shining through half-transparent smoke.

I set an the particle material to an alpha of 0.25 so the light can shine through. Also the smoke seems to be a little bit more realistic with this setting ... was just playing around and exploring blender.

Have you added some transparency to the Smoke-Material?
