My submission for the CORE Fundamentals of 3D Mesh Modeling course.
I wasn’t entirely new to mesh modeling, but I’d picked up some bad habits during the early 'random YouTube tutorials' stage. To be honest, I found modeling a bit frustrating sometimes, mostly because of messy topology and not really understanding what was going on and why the shading was acting weird. This course really helped me understand the core principles of clean modeling. I had lots of fun creating this room!
The T-rex skull and Planet system are a little nod to my other projects from the CG Cookie Sessions course.
And I also added a tiny Melvin cookie, as a thank you! 🍪
I love the Melvin shaped cookie. I'm glad you posted the result here with other shots so we can see and appreciate all the detail. So much work went into it, it's so awesome 🤙🏼
Thanks a lot Omar! The staff pick really made my day! 🤘🏻
