Not bad at all for your first modeled object. Take the same file and either add a subdivision modifier to the blade and handle or at least choose each part in Object mode, hit "W", then choose "Shade Smooth" (or do both). You'll be amazed at the results. Keep working and keep learning. I've been using Blender for YEARS and I still don't feel like a have a great handle on it. The courses on here are excellent ways to learn though.
