I've done a lot of playing around with what I have learned so far, just over half of the fundamentals course (mainly so it all gets lodged in my head properly).

thanks for the feedback. I have actually done a lot more since this to the scene. I decided to tweak and tweak and tweak to get everything lodged in my head as much as possible. I will upload the latest version later today.
well the window actually really lights the floor, but the other objects not so much
i like what youre doing there. 2 things i noticed tho is that i would expect the window to cast a much stronger light into the room, and the floor tiles are kinda big. if you got these to a more realistic scale the image would immediately look a ton more realistic. keep it up, and keep playing with what you've picked up to really integrate it like you said!
