(From early 2016) Made for an (required) exhibition at my university. I've always loved the work of Weta artist Christian Pearce, and I pulled the concept drawing from his Instagram (http://bit.ly/1TclgkB). I hashed out orthographic diagrams from every angle and took it into Blender to model. Ended up a looking a bit rushed since I was in a hurry and rendered with 100 samples (glossed over in PS).
Bent wing bird was able to pull out of a dive that would shear the wings off of a zero.
You an me both. It is still a classic.
