Some candy canes.
My workflow:
1 - Candy cilinder, unwrap, straight textures.
2 - Twist the mesh, use an armature for the cane shape
3 - Make a basic bowl, make some proxies and run a rigid body simulation.
4 - After complete, exchange the proxy mesh data for the final one.
*Material: principled + subsurf scat + glass
*Textures: hand made in Affinity Designer
* Render: Cycles, 512 samples, no denoising
:)
nice render!
I had to use "convex hull" instead of "mesh" for the shape at the physics simulation, so the final position is not perfect...but not bad after all.
