sorry cookie dough I got distracted, hi. Are you doing any of the animation exercises?

  • Cookie Dough(cgcdough)

jgonzalez Yeah, I have very little experience with animating, so I would prefer the modeling.

    Helo everyone

  • Jonathan Gonzalez(jgonzalez)

but I do understand how to create a rig and setup animations. Once you have that in place and understand keyframe animation it's easy to start playing around to get something you like.

  • Jonathan Gonzalez(jgonzalez)

I'm more familiar with the animation side than modeling, so animation. I don't create rigged characters often so I'm not great at it.

In this community challenge we'll take a look at animating a simple CG Cookie logo. This logo is rigged and ready to be used in Blender 2.8. If you're brand new to animation in Blender, then this challenge will be just what you need to get started. In this live stream I'll explain the challenge requirements along with a simple example of using the same rig to create an animation sequence.
