Last session we faked a curtain with a gobo. This time we go all in and put it front and centre. Curtains earn their place in a lot of homes, whether for privacy, blocking light, or just finishing off a carefully designed room.

The modeling here is a breeze, a few planes and a couple of extrusions even for the background. The real work is the cloth simulation fighting wind forces, turning that into a seamless loop, and building a fabric material where light actually shines through without the weave disappearing.
