Fundamentals of 3D Mesh Modeling in Blender

Instructor:
Jonathan Lampel

3D modeling = the #1 skill for a computer graphics artist

Everything you need to start 3D modeling

Do you want to make games, animations, 3D prints, visual effects, or 3D illustrations?

Whatever your project is -- making shapes with points, lines, and faces is at the heart of the 3D modeling process.

This course is for you if you know the basics of Blender 3D -- and are now ready to dive deeper.

What you'll learn

Together, we’ll cover all of the most used Blender tools and settings you will use for all of your next Blender 3D modeling projects.

But what's just as important -- I'll help you understand the fundamental ideas behind these tools and settings, so you’ll know exactly why you're using them and make smart workflow choices for all your projects.

Putting things into practice

You’ll be able to test your new skills with mini-projects, like creating a sci-fi crate.

In the end, I've prepared an exercise for you. If you complete it, you will get personalized feedback so you can see how much you've improved.

I started learning Blender on my own a long time ago and picked it again a few days ago, but I felt I lacked crucial knowledge on tools and the reasoning behind some of them because there were many basic things I did not remember how to do. I then decided to take some fundamental course and I'm happy I found this one! Jonathan is a great instructor and explains everything in detail so that we know not only how but also why we are doing this and that. It's very practical and we are able to fully comprehend the theoretical knowledge once we put it into practice. Thank you, Jonathan! :)

I did this course while being some months already into Blender, and there were so many things that I was missing.

You should for sure check this one out :)
