Stuck on how to model Guitar Strings

I'm currently working on modelling this guitar however for the last couple hours I've been unsure on how I could model the guitar strings. I've tried a path curve however I was unsure if you could solidify it to make it look round like the string's are suppose to.

Any suggestions on how I could achieve this would be greatly appreciated!

    But maybe you should mimic its geometry with texture/displacement map?

    To just make it round, you can use a Path, or any Curve and adjust its thickness and resolution here:

    For the thicker, coiled strings, you could use the Screw Modifier:

    Followed by a Curve Modifier:
