You are right. I am down with the flu. I like the logo with dog's paw print.

  • Parker Bourassa(pfbourassa) replied

    Good stuff, I vote yes!

dostovel I like it Omar especially the inverted color scheme from the standard CAT. I want to add if we are doing CAT versus DOG maybe lets have the arrow point down and be at the top. (Now I’m thinking “top dog” haha)

Maybe something like this? The yellow color RGB to match is R: 255, G: 184, B: 28

I took some photos today at work of a similar machine (the best I have at my disposal). I’ll upload them here for reference if that helps:

The bucket is pretty close to same width as tires even though it tends to “appear” wider

    Up close to bucket side.

Fuel tank is built into the step

Different stabilizer and excavator rear frame but good reference.

    Another rear reference

Another angle of the excavator arm.

  • Shawn Blanch(blanchsb) replied

I believe this 2nd half also extends out to allow farther reach for the excavator bucket.

Close up of the back of the bucket

@theluthier Is there an official thread to this livestream?

dostovel I've been drafting the forum post for the past hour! Still not done..but expect it tomorrow. There's a lot to outline to avoid confusion as it turns out. But I LOVE what I'm seeing in this thread so far! Your logo design is 💯

blanchsb What good luck that you have a backhoe at your disposal for pictures! How unlucky that it's not the same model I chose 😣 BUT your pics will no doubt be helpful for filling in gaps. Thanks for taking the time to snap the pics and post them here 🙇

On that note I was driving down the highway last week and noticed a CATERPILLAR facility 100 yards off the road. I may have to call them and see if A) they have a 434E backhoe on site and B) if I can take pics of it.
