Damped Track - imprt to Unity

Hey there.

I was googling this issue and also trying to resolve the issue since a 2 weeks but didn't find a solution.

So I have a rig where I have helpers, like "Widget Handels" that work fine. But I also have a Damped track for the eyes. And after export the eyes dont work as desired and have very wrong animation resulst, while the rest of the Rig is working excelent.

When I remove the damped track it also works fine.

I did of course export into FBX, forced start and end frame and baked the animation on export.

Only found this 2 year old entry

https://blender.stackexchange.com/questions/96777/blender-to-unity-track-animations

where they say export with constrains doesn't work in general and you can bake the animations in Blender.

Can anyone tell me how that works in 2.8 now? Or has another solution on how constrians can be exported?

I wonder why I see it as RIg setup in all tutorials but it doesn't make sense that it doesnt work in the engines then.

A bit sad to have setup a nice rig and then it's not fully usable ^^'

Thanks for your time.

Okay I found it (why do I always find it AFTER I am posting ^^')

so in Posemode its - Pose-> Bake Action

Guess this is the safest way to get the anims into Unity.

If someone else has some tips I am open for suggestions :)
