In Blender 2.8, background images are totally different than 2.7 (which this video was recorded with). Here's how you can use them in 2.8!

I watched the video but it didn't help a little bit

    Could you give a image

or upload a video about image settings

Hey sshanr , there are many different kinds of images in Blender, so I'll need a bit more info in order to help. Are you referring to a background image in the viewport like in the video above, or an image texture on a mesh? Which settings are you looking to change? What result are you getting now and what result are you hoping to get?

I realize learning Blender can be frustrating at times, but it's definitely worth it! I'm happy to help, but I can only do so if I know what about images or their settings that you need help with. Please be as specific about your issue as possible and answer each of the three questions above so that I can know how to help.

Image axis settings in Blender 2.8?

  • spikeyxxx replied

Hi shanr, I am not sure if I understand you correctly, but:

In 2.8, the image is an object (an Empty, actually...) in your screenshot you look at it in right orthographic view.

If you want to see it in front view for instance, you will have to rotate it (the image/Empty) around the Z-axis minus 90 degrees. (R, Z, -90 )
