Where should I start?

Collaborations

I am very very beginner in blender. I am interest in 3D-Modeling and Modeler job. Should I start learn from learning flow Blender 2.8 Complete guide and continue with Modeling in Blender?. But in Modeling in blender learning flow it use blender 2.7. Is it make me confuse?

Thank you for every future answer. I very appreciate it.

    Hello, ninezee .
I faced that same situation and that's what I suggest:

    1. Install both Blender 2.7x and Blender 2.8 (older version goes first).
    2. Start you work with 2.8 (same goes for learning flow / courses). Learn the interface and basics well.
    3. Then get yourself as many information as possible from < 2.8 courses. There will be some differences for sure but it's pretty much intuitive.
    4. If you cant follow some <2.8 lessons use 2.7x as a helping tool.

I started about 2 years ago with Blender 2.79 and it worked fine for nearly all the tutorials and courses in cgcookie. I am having difficulty with 2.80 though, I think it's an issue with my graphics driver/card because it keeps crashing.

So I go back and forth. You can easily install older versions of Blender by getting the zip files from blender.org and then unzipping them to a folder on your hard drive. To start the older version then just find the executable file on your hard drive and double click it.
