    There is no Shortcut for that, but if you right-click on the button, you can assign a Shortcut to it.

    That's how it works in 2.8. It's a button in the timeline next to the playback buttons. There isn't a hotkey. But if you right click on the button you can assign a hotkey as spikey said or put it in your quick favorite panel.

    Hi sshanr 

    We are currently updating the fundamentals of animation course. One thing I would 100% advise against is not changing the "Only insert needed" setting.  Chris mentions to change this - but don't. Never do this.  It is bad advice haha!! 

    The others have already mentioned where the Auto keying is, but I don't think you will need a hot key for this.  You probably won't be switching on/off all that often. (mine is on 98% percent of the time).

    Let me know if you get stuck on any animation related things.
