Rendering issue, what next...lol.

Hopefully the last problem with this exercise.

My completed domino exercise using Blender 2.8 works smoothly, consistently, and repeatedly. So now I'm ready to render it for submission. I press Cntl + F12 to render and the process completes. When I reviewed the finished render I found that the standing dominos have remained untouched and that on frame 80, the small ball snapped back to its starting point on top of the slide only to stay there through the remaining 120 frames. This happens in both Eevee and Cycles.

I've tried to solve this for quite some time without success, so the problem appears to be above my pay grade.

This is my Drop Box Link to the .blend file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lkb47vgablwk0kw/exercise.dominoes.blend?dl=0

Thanks,

Hans

Aha! Found it. You've got an image in the sequencer, and it's overriding the render. Delete that or un-check sequencer in the render properties post processing panel and you should be good to go.

The animation is looking cool BTW!

    Hi Jonathan,

Thanks for the help. You were absolutely right. That did the trick. It rendered the way it should. I'll submit the exercise tomorrow!!

    Much appreciated.
