Need rigging tutorial to make human figures move more realistically

Collaborations

I have been trying on my own for a looooooong time to build a rig that makes these figures I imported from Daz Studio move/pose like they do in Daz. Rigging in Blender is fun I like it but I don't know enough about it and I don't know why I can't get the same quality deformations, is that the correct term?, in the mesh.

I thought I'd ditch Blender and try to learn how to rig in Daz but there is precious little information, practically nothing on youtube and some of the paid tutorials on the Daz website are outdated. And from what I have seen it is really hard to do.

I LIKE rigging in Blender even what I've learned to do in weight paint once I got it to work was not bad. At least I know it can be done and am familiar with it.

Any tutorials here, even if they are paid, that could help?

I highly recommend "Humane Rigging" (can be found on youtube) by Nathan Vegdhal (the main maker of rigify in Blender)... it may seem a bit long in the tooth but it still handles what needs to be understood about rigging

You are certainly right that, compared to other aspects of creation in Blender, there's a lot fewer tutorials on rigging that are in-depth and complete.  It seems to be the thing that people want to do the least, and you're far more likely to find tutorials on how to use rigging addons that do, or purport to do, much of the "hard work".

That said, Mark Smith's recommendation is spot on; and I would also highly recommend checking out a YouTube channel called DanPro which focuses on rigging, especially to achieve better/more realistic deformations in human characters.
