Texturing/unwrapping help me!

So I have been trying to texture this snake. This is my first ever blender project.

First off I do not know how to not texture the inside of the mouth. How do I give it a second texture?

Second the marked seams line up terribly and it looks awful.

Third if I go to cycles render and drag the mouth out of the uv area it still textures it.

Before you UV unwrap it, you should retopologize it.  That will make it much easier.  Also, you can take a screenshot by going to window > save screenshot.

It would be incredibly difficult to UV unwrap a model as dense as the one pictured. I assume that was sculpted. You'd need to retopologize it. You can assign different faces to have a different material. Create a material for each section you want, then in edit mode select the faces for the mouth, select the "mouth material" then click "assign" below the material. Do the same thing for the other portions of the model. If you have proper UV islands you can select each island and give it a unique material by pressing "L" when hovering over an island.
