Human anatomy training

After the class of august i've decided to learn human anatomy and train myself to sculpt all i can about it !
In this topic i will show all the skulls, bones, muscles arms, feets, fingers and etherything else i've sculpted.
Feel free to do the same here if you want to, or just let a comment ^^.

I just hope to see a good progression into the future months , the goal here is to progress :)

Here is the first skull that i've sculpted with a little rule to follow to my personnal case:
Whatever i sculpt i have to do it in 30 minutes !
This little rule help me to go fast and not take too much my time :)

galledark It's great, super duper in-depth, and afterwards, your confidence in anatomy will increase greatly. I'm going to talk about the regular anatomy course which I think you should take first. He goes over groups of muscles each week. Week 1 is skeleton and proportions were you'll learn about important landmarks on the body and then week 2 goes chest and abs, and week 3 is deltoids i believe and each week you focus on a group of muscles until you get to the neck, hands, and feet.

The two most complicated areas to me were the back and forearms. For homework, he gives you a section of Lomis's book to read and pictures to escrow over.

It can be boring if you're not into, but it's all needed. The escrow is the biggest thing that helped me. He also goes over variations in different body parts and has a gallery that shows where professional artist went wrong with their anatomy. It's a big eye opener.

Then, after that, he has a facial anatomy course which follows the same layout but it a lot shorter and by week 3 you'll understand the anatomy of the face, for week 4-6 he goes over expressions and variations..

Then, after all that, if you're not broke from his courses, he has a digital figure sculpting course which is his main thing, He uses zbrush, but you could follow in Blender(Zbrush is great by the way). You'll sculpt the torso, arms, legs, hands, individually, and then for the last half, you'll build a character to completion.

Even if you just finish the anatomy course, all that'll be holding you back is your hand movement in sculpting. When I finished his anatomy course, I was able to make a person that actually looked real, the proportions were slightly off(or she was thicker than I wanted), but anatomically, everything was correct.

bbsdwerbeagentur Yeah, In had to save up for it, but it was part of the field I wanted to get into, so I bit the bullet. The best part is, his students all work for legit companies, from video games to animation studios. In fact, he had a forum so we could introduce ourselves, but I didn't because I didn't have dididly squat to my portfolio or name like the others at the time.

There is a youtube series by some guy I forgot his name. He uses zbrush to teach anatomy. I noticed he made some mistakes and it wasn't as intense as eatons, but it was good enough. Maybe googling around could help.

I didn't posted it as a submission, this is far from the level of details asked. So I just post it here to share what my first try was look like and i'll give it another try soon :)
