Meet Mr. Sketch! :)

Hello!

I am new to the CG Cookie community, and also sharing my art in general. I have always had the typical hesitation that I have come to learn a lot of artists have, but I would love to start getting my art out there and getting some feedback from those who struggle through the creation process as well :)

I have been illustrating for many years, but never professionally or anything. As I learn more about the CG environment, I've come to find the missing piece that I've always felt my art was missing lies in the subtly of movement and expression. When I observe the world, the small gestures a person wears as they talk or the breeze brushing past the trees are what I admire the most and learning to capture that is what will dedicate my focus on while here at CG Cookie

So here is a character I worked on for a game my brother and I wanted to create. His name is DeBugi since the premise of the game was actually more to test our knowledge of working within the Unity/Blender environment. What started as a filler has turned into a recurring character among a lot of projects so I think DB is a great first introduction :)

I have made a lot of concepts for him in the past and they are all for you guys to share and use if you'd like for your own creation process! Some issues Iv'e noted while taking a crack at it are the feet and hands. They are a bit uninspired and honestly don't give him enough character (I'm not great at feet and hands :P ) so I would love to see what you guys think and also see your own versions

This a character called a Mossquito (lol terrible :P) I only have this one image so no turn around or anything, but if anyone is interested in one, let me know and I will sketch one up :)

Ok, last one for the day(I'm honestly not even sure these are going in the right thread so I guess I will see)

This is an old one from back in the day. His name is Freeter and he was supposed to be a character for a Pacman like game that ran around and ate little beetles and mushrooms for power ups. I've never modeled him really, once in Anim8or but I will spare you guys that, but I have gotten to know him pretty well and have scrippled him on a couple napkins in diners over time. Use these if you'd like and let me know if they are accurate enough. If not, I can totally take another wack at it and make what ever corrections I need to.

( Again, pretty terrible feet and hands, sorry :( )
