polybook yukino1989

This is my polybook .
works will be seen here as in my gallery

My to do list and what i want to learn in 20.19

The house assets(not priority but good to do in between )
126/130 house objects (4 are done )
i know 130 house assets is a lot but for example i will make diffrent styles or sizes . like several lights . antiek kitchen / modern kitchen etc . Not sure how long this might take but i dont worry too much since this is to keep practicing and to do in between the lessons .

Courses and Learning flows

-animation bootcamp
-Blender mesh modeling bootcamp
-Introduction to hard surface modeling
-introduction to character modeling
-interior architectural vizualization (still need to finish this course)
-Animation workflow and body mechanics
-Short film character production (pierro course)
-fundamentals of rigging

If possible some small animation.

yyukinoh1989 Cool and simple nightstand. However, it kind of blends in with the background color. Going for a cooler color would make it stand out.

    Good luck with learning animation!

    @drgnclw
thanx a lot . i indeed agree with the background (should went for more of a blue purlple tint)
and thanx i will do my best . made a whole plan so i wonder how far i will be able to get . for now everything is going smooth .
gonna watch the next lesson and perhaps i can start that this weekend or otherwise next week

yyukinoh1989 That's a great plan for 2019.  Some steady progress is better than no progress =]  You got this.

  • yukino hatake(yukinoh1989) replied

    hello guys
i am trying to go for the vanilla ball drops exercise , but i have been unable after creating more copies of the balls to go to pose mode .
pose mode is where i also should take object mode right ? this is what i gets after i have the copie's
it might be a silly question but i cant seems to get things get to work

  • smurfmier1985 replied

yyukinoh1989 did you make a proxy for the rig? Without it there is no working rig, so that might be your problem. I believe Wayne explains is in the Multiball Demo Video, you might want to watch it again.

Also in the top bar click on the error on the 'reload trusted' button, so you can switch the types of balls, if ya like :)

  • yukino hatake(yukinoh1989) replied

    ssmurfmier1985
thanks a lot indeed that was the problem and reload trusted fixed also the problem why i could not switch balls .
i have been literly stuck for several hours on this problem and watched the video several times . thanks so much again :D
gonna get those balls bouncing :D

  • smurfmier1985 replied

yyukinoh1989 no problem 😊 Happy animating!

    vanilla ball drop <--- exercise

  • yukino hatake(yukinoh1989) replied

also working onto the obstacle drop . its not so easy as the previous but hope some things are already nice :)
let me know what you guys think and what i should improve . rotation still have to be added .

  • silentheart00 replied

yyukinoh1989 The vanilla ball drop looks pretty good to me.  The Obstacle Drop looks good so far, except the first drop where the ball bounces back looks strange to me.  Maybe it's too sudden of a drop/stop, the hop back is too subtle, I'm not sure.  Hopefully someone with a better understanding of the exercise can help you more.

  • yukino hatake(yukinoh1989) replied

silentheart00 thank you for the feedback. Got to say the obstacle drop isn't easy. It took a while before I got the curves good. Still am not sure if the spacing and timing is good enough

  • yukino hatake(yukinoh1989) replied

ssmurfmier1985 i been working onto the basketballl. looked at the start to make it a bit faster . also adjusted the handels to get better curves .
i did made all 3 already drop at the same time but the curves of the football and bowlingball still need to be adjusted . first wanna be sure the basketball is ok :)
edit i think i polished them all . hope this will be better :)

  • smurfmier1985 replied

yyukinoh1989 Hi Yukino, here I am! I looked at your Vanilla Ball Drops, as requested

    Well... let's see.

    - The first drop is still in slow motion... you can cut a couple of frames out of that.

    - You're at the point where your eyes are tricking you. The first bounces of the basketbal where good, you only had to scale down the key at the top of the bounce a bit to make it feel less floaty (a.k.a. make all the bounces nice parabolas). Now its even spacing all around...

I recommend leaving this one be for at least 2 days. Then go back to an older version (the one you submitted) and try again.

Don't be discouraged, this happens to everyone and it's all part of the learning process. Heck, I had to do some exercises multiple times before I could turn them in, and even then had to adjust them once or twice. You're doing great and progressing at a good rate. Just keep working hard and remember to rest your eyes, and you'll get there!

PS your bowling ball is already looking good, so no need to adjust that one :)
