new to blender

i just got a 3d printer and am wanting to start creating my own models to print.i would like to make statues of cartoon characters from my favorite shows like family guy,futurama,and the simpsons what Courses should i be following to accomplish this?

williamatics i have been learning for a few months before subscribing to cg cookie. i followed blender gurus tutorials on youtube before subscribing but don't know what courses i should be focusing on to model cartoon characters.

ccsj310 This is a good course if you've never sculpted before. This and That are good courses if you're already comfortable with sculpting. Here is a course about 3D printing.
