I have a little question in regards of the preserving older tutorials.

Is the CGcookie Archive still up, if no, then when you'll upload the tutorials via youtube and/or Internet Archive?

  • Jonathan Lampel replied

Hey Dewy, we're adding the archived videos to our YouTube channel every week: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3GeP3YLZn5hCYXZp2yACPZWn-wQik6fD

  • dewy60 replied

@jlampel are you also uploading source files in blend swap, too?

  • Jonathan Lampel replied

ddewy60 Yep, they're linked to in the description 👍

@jlampel Does the animation fundamentals count as a CG Cookie Classic?

  • Jonathan Lampel replied

Hey ddewy60 , that one's still on the site, so it's not a classic: https://cgcookie.com/course/fundamentals-of-animation

    Happy animating!

  • dewy60 replied

@jlampel Question: Would I have your permission to upload some of the courses (including Sources) to the internet archive in case if anyone doesn't afford the CG Cookie membership.

  • Jonathan Lampel replied

ddewy60 Definitely not, that would be blatant pirating. If someone cannot afford a membership, we have more than enough content on YouTube to last them years worth of learning.

@jlampel Including the box modeling and rigging of a cartoon groundhog tutorial?

  • Jonathan Lampel replied

ddewy60 Yes, though it's already on YouTube, so it's already free: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRF8fO_664o
