Is a diagram of the 'canonical' organization of a shader available?

I would love to have a reference diagram showing how to organize the nodes in a 'complete' shader such as you developed. Is such a diagram available, and if so where?

    I don't have a diagram like the one you describe. It's an interesting concept though. I'm trying right now to brainstorm what that could look like..

    I suppose node-based material creation is kind of like Lego's to me. While it's useful to buy a set with specific instructions to follow, the real joy of legos lies in building whatever I want (without instructions). So it sounds like for a beginner level course, the former example is what would helpful.
