How do I get the base mesh?

Question

When I downloaded the project files, I opened a new .blend file and appended the "Cube" mesh from the start file. However, instead of appending the base mesh that you started with, it appended the result of this lesson. I would like to follow along from the very beginning, not the second lesson. Where can I download the base mesh?

I chose not to include the basemesh for this project since I've taught the method so many times. If you look in the description you can see a list of links for how to create a basemesh like the one I start from. It should only take you 5-10 minutes to generate an equivalent one.
