    Pole Target issues

    When I added the pole target the elbow rotates and does not point to the target in an intuitive way. Image one shows the bend, then I go into edit mode and it looks fine, which is the second image below. Any help is appreciated

      I found the issue for this problem but also found a different one. I fixed this by rotating the joints, but when I did the defJoints are not pointing at the target pole any more. I followed the tutorial through the rest of the rigging, because you had the same problem but your solutions didn't help. thank you for the response and love your work.
