Something wrong with the arm rig

posted to: Weight Painting

Essentially, the arm bones wont move with the sweater for some reason. I followed all the steps until 4:25 but I somehow got another result, when I drag the same arm bone, nothing really follows it. I instinctively poked on the other bones to see if they worked, which they did not.  Got any tips to solve this problem?

Also, I have noticed that the sweater and jacket overlaps with itself when I turn down the quality, would you recommend fixing it?

Hey Lars, I'm having a hard time replicating this. Would you mind if I look at the file itself? Or perhaps @theluthier would know, as he has used Rigify much more than I have. (to tag, use the @ symbol in front of the username BTW).

I wouldn't worry about the sweater and jacket clipping when you turn down the resolution, unless you plan on rendering it at that level.

Looking good so far, I like how you made some of your own modifications!

Okay, how do I send the file so that you or Theluthier can overlook it? The website that you have mentioned earlier, (http://pasteall.org/blend/) does not want to use my project since the file size is too big. Perhaps there is another way?

    Thanks for the responce!

After some tries I figure out that you need to increase "IK_FK:" to 1 in Rig Main Properties in Properties Panel. Hope it'll help ;)
