Not a question but more of a suggestion.

Hi, i just want to ask if we can have a screencast key activated in the future tutorials videos as it will help us beginners what is happening like on my case for example, i dont know where did you get  or how  you were able to produce the hi res gizmo onto the low res one on around 7:38 min. You said that  "Then unhide our low res shader gizmo which is on layer two.." so i follow what you said, i "unhide"  it using alt+h but nothing happened. After few trial and errors, i was able to produce exactly what you just did by shift+click/drag the layers down that i didn't know i'm able to do that so yea, just for future videos/tutorials, screencast will be great for us beginners.

P.S

for reference, i'm a complete beginner in blender (or anything the same) trying to learn new things so i hope you understand. Big THANK YOU by the way  for sharing your knowledge.

We appreciate the suggestion. We used to enable screencast keys for our tutorials but decided against it a few years ago. The reason being that we felt it was a crutch that caused us to do a poor job of explaining A) hotkey presses themselves and B) where to find each operation in menus.

That was the theory though admittedly I'm not sure well we've done in recent years with A) and B). Perhaps we will revisit the approach. Thanks again.
