My models won't snap together in Unity

posted to: Exporting to Unity

After resetting the locations in Blender for the export to Unity, some crazy how, my origin points got all screwed up.  Just as a question is the re-organizing  of the meshes just for cleanliness?  I am unable to snap my corner pieces to my regular wall pieces.

Object origins are actually very important when exporting to a game engine. I know this in part because it was the only C I made in college. While my model + textures was very good, my origins were wrong and it hurt my grade significantly. Not that I'm bitter or anything...

The end goal is to use these pieces like legos to snap together a bigger level. So it's kind of like taking apart your lego creation to store it back in the box. That way when you want to create again, individual pieces is better to start from rather than an already-built creation. Hope that metaphor makes sense.

Can you post a screenshot to illustrate what you mean?

I found what I did,  I cleared the transformations at the wrong time.  applying rotation after they're set put the origin back at 0,0,0 for evertyhing.

ALSO..... my corner piece was 1x2

    ...nevermind..
