Trouble while cycling

posted to: Rivet Walk Cycle

Each time i add a cycle modifier to the feet it acts weird, especially the left one it moves waaaaaay faster than the right one (looks like the left foot dont want to be the part of Rivet's body LOL)

I followed your (Wayne sir) way to add cycles modifier to foot (including repeating with offset) but still it is not working

Note: I havent followed each and every step of yours (which includes 1.3/2 one)

Not so important note:

Dont tell me i am dumb, i know that already

    Firstly, you are not dumb.

But I can't tell what your issue might be without some visuals.

    Can you post a video?

It sounds like you might be repeating the cycle twice or something before the modifier kicks in.  Check that you only have keyframes in the correct frame range (like 01-25 for example)

    Sorry for disturbing u again

This is the problem when i add cycles modifier

Apart from this, i wanna thank you Wayne sir u always give quick and detailed feedback to each and every person posting there exercise homework and also helping them when they stuck somewhere u r great and my favorite teacher. Thanks again :)

Want to continue but probably, this could be my last exercise :(

Thanks for the kind words Anish.  I like to help people improve.

In regards to your animation, check your graph editor, it looks like you have keyed the offset and then have the cycle modifier set with the offset as well.

This means you are getting twice the offset (double transforms)

Maybe you have keyed more than just one whole step.  Like 1 whole step and 1 more key pose. (I hope that makes sense)

If you still can't figure it out, show a video of your graph editor and dope sheet.

Keep going, I know you can solve this.
