A little question about pinned cloth

I'm pretty confused. I can't find any real world examples of cloth behaving like in your example while it's pinned. Any examples I see with so much tension at the top are almost smooth and without any wrinkles. And if it's not so tense it has far more deep sagging at the top than at the bottom. Could you clarify this moment for me?

@theluthier can I have an answer here please? :(

In my example I simply applied the wrinkle patterns to a flat plane. But in reality, the borders of the cloth would also sag like in the image you posted. When in doubt, photographic reference is the best reference.

And the fact that you're visually analyzing this way already is a good sign that you're head is in the right place for sculpting 👌
