Ran the script; turned off auto keying and grabbed top; i hit "i" chose location: top read 9 keys added but nothing in dope sheet

I'm trying to review my old work and make it better but am running into some technical problems; I appreciate any help.  Using 2.79 Blender I notice the video you are using 2.77.3
