Download leads to a HTML file

posted to: Rigging a Dog

Hi, I just got through the videos but when I go to download the dog from the site it gives me a HTML file and it gives me a wall of text after I open it. Is the file down?

I'm not able to download the reproduce the error. All 3 downloads work as expected for me. Can you try again?

Strange, I was having the same problem downloading the .psd file but I just tried it again and it's working.

I have the same problem, when I go to blendswap and try to download it, it gives me an HTML file. Did you fix it?

  • Scott Mansfield(mrgotty) replied

I am having this same problem :(

I might have been unclear. I mean the this link https://www.blendswap.com/blends/view/66325 . When you come here and download the link it just gives you a HTML file and it opens line of code(?) This is the screen after downloading the bull dog.
Apologies for quality. But notice at the bottom it says that the download will just give me a HTML file.

Ok so it sounds like it's a blendswap issue.

In the meantime are you opposed to us rigging a different model of a quadruped and sending it in, or is it best to wait?

  • Kent Trammell replied

point Sure go ahead and rig a different quadruped. Just mention in the submission description that the dog download is broken.

Just by looking at the HTML file created at blendsawap they are running that on a Linux apache2 setup.  I am suprised you got the file to unzip in linux, I fired up my ubuntu virtual server and tried it there with no success. I had zero success on the Windows and Mac machines in the house as well.
