Tracking the top and bottom of the ball

posted to: Character Ball

Is there any way to track the x and z position of the top and bottom of the ball? I would like to use the coordinates to accurately place the spacing which becomes hard when I am squashing and stretching.

Edit: Also, is there an animation speed control? I would like to watch my project play through at half speed to make it easier to pick out mistakes. Thanks!

    1. Don't worry so much about the co-ordiantes of the parts, training your eye will make you faster.  But you can turn on the motion paths for any part.  Just select the bone > calculate motion paths.  (don't forget to clear old paths if they get in your way)

    2. You can change the playback from 24fps to anything you want in the output settings.  This is a great way to spot errors.
