Hi Jonathan. Considering that Principled BSDF is now implemented in 2.79, do I still need this node setup or has it become completely obsolete?
Hey ggraighyl , you can just use the Principled BSDF for similar results, but if you're ever wondering how PBR works then this video would still be useful for understanding the fundamentals (e.g. what is roughness, Fresnel, etc...).
