How To make the animation loop?

Hey there, i want to submit this exercise. but i'm having trouble how to loop the circular path 5 time

There's a couple ways to do it.

    A.  Curve modifiers (add cycle modifier)

In the Graph Editor (GE), select the 2 channels on the left so they are highlighted and press CTRL SHIFT M (inside the part of the window that has the curves in it) and chose 'Cycle Modifier'.

(you can also do this one curve at a time with the properties panel in the 'modifiers' tab by pressing 'add modifier')

Then end your animation 1 frame before the 6th loop.

(scrub to that frame and press E over the time line window, or type the frame number in the end frame)

Then render the viewport animation. There is no need to 'render' it properly.

    B. Render once from Blender and duplicate the output.

Render (opengl) the cycle once and then duplicate this video 4 more times using the Video Sequence Editor (VSE) or any other video editing software.  Make sure you stop 1 frame before the cycle repeats, otherwise it will pause on frame 1 because it is showing it twice.

    C. Duplicate the keyframes.

You can use SHIFT D in either the Graph Editor or the Action Editor to duplicate the keyframes and repeat it 4 more times.

Change the animation end frame to 1 frame before the 6th cycle.

Hi! How to render the viewport animation ? I can only find the "Render Animation" option in 2.80. And the final render does not show motion paths.

Also, can we put our homework assignments to https://syncsketch.com/ instead of youtube?

    Thank you! :)

Never mind about rendering :) Found it on View-> Viewport Render Animation. :)

Glad you found the 2.8 settings.

Re: Syncsketch,  We are looking into the possible integration of this at the moment, but not sure if it will happen or not.

So I'm not sure if the link can embed at the moment, but you can try, if not...then YT, Vimeo or Wistia (and maybe some others but I can't recall off the top of my head)

I created YT for now (though it's a bit awkward to put it to public just like that when I don't really know that much yet :D ). Thank you!

You can set your YT video to "unlisted", from what I understand it does not appear to anyone except if they have the link(URL). I did it for the domino exercise.

just simply duplicate the frame 4 times ..up to 1000 frames  :)
