At about a minute into the video, the screen flips left to right for a few seconds and then back again, what was this for?

I "flip" the canvas horizontally all the time when working to see the art from a different perspective and if there is anything that seems warped or out of proportion. Sometimes it's easier to see this when you flip the image completely!
