Hey, Kent i need some help. Whenever i try and follow one of these tutorials i always seem to have a problem with everything being, i guess the correct word would be inverted? For example in this tutorial at 7:37 my edge loop can be pushed outwards however if i try and do like the tutorial shows and push it inwards to the box center it behaves rather oddly. Is there anyway for me to fix this? I tried doing ctrl + n to invert the normals but i was wondering if you could give me a more long term solution to follow.

How do you mean 'inverted'? Like the mesh face normals are pointed inward on your model and CTRL + N doesn't fix it?

Well, its something i don't quite understand myself and i sort of already scraped the blend file a long time ago. Sorry for wasting your time, if you can you could just delete this question.

It's just that your startups always baffle me at first. I finally got the hang of where you started in the 3d view and such. Outside of always having a different startup file and nodes and sculpting tools that others might not have you really are a fantastic teacher and your material forge series is probably the best series ive gone through so far.
