Ambient Occlusion Missing in Blender 5.2 LTS

posted to: Shading

Hi, I’m using Blender 5.2 LTS, but I can’t find the Ambient Occlusion option under Eevee’s Render Properties like you have in the course. Has it been removed or moved in the newer version? If so, what should I use instead?

Eevee was rewritten and now has the option to turn on raytracing and doesn't have to fake AO.

Although, isn't it better to leave it at GI instead of changing it to AO? Because the GI will include the AO?
