Another Quick Question...

Hello again, so, i heard your recommendation for this modifier, when you spoke of using the Voxel size to reduce the vertex count, and so i wanted to ask... is this a solid way to reduce vertex count without losing out on quality any more than "the norm"? and are there other methods that have similar or better capabilities in reducing vertex count/preserving quality whilst trying to eliminate as much unseen and unneeded content from the blend file as we can?

My own focus is on finding what my options are when it comes to being able to create and then use high quality meshes that have been optimised as much as possible in either animation or video games, with detail preservation being of high importance, so any loss of quality is unwanted, only a trimming down of resource usage

That's probably mostly a case to case situation, where combinations of tricks, work together with experience. Very unlikely, that there is a one-click solution.

Maybe in the future (in 3 weeks or so), AI will be able to do that, but even if that would be the case, where would be the fun in that?

You play Grand Theft Auto or Minecraft with cheats, and they are only fun for a little while before they lose all sense of meaning. But working smarter and not harder is also valid, letting the computer hand a thing or two is not bad either. So there is a middle ground somewhere to be achieved.
