Should really have put this Hard Drive up here before the Coffee cups, but i was intending to hold off, as i wanted to add more to it - the back ports, but that'll be something i will come back to later, so for now, here is my Intro to 3D Modeling exercise's External Hard Drive model i created...

....I also want to come back and add materials, some texturing, and a glow/bloom effect to the front light also, and a nice falt surface beneath the HDD so that it can reflect a little light and add some depth

CG Cookie cookie went all berserk mode. You know what was that really happened? The cookie saw Wes using 3DS Max and flipped out.

I bet it did too lol, funny thing is, i first started playing around with game design and 3D modeling on 3ds max decades ago, certainly wouldnt go back there now though, damn was it expensive back then, but not as much as Lightwave and Maya

I still get as angry as that Cookie just thinking about the prices that prevented so many from ever trying out this wonderful creative art

So, i just finished my Low Poly Room Challenge on the Fundamentals of 3D Mesh Modeling.... boy was that a lot of fun once i got going

Here's the final viewport render i did, decided not to go with Orthographic, and instead stick with my good ol' 1920 x 1080p viewport render instead
