I feel like you might be in the minority with the 4K though.
We would all need to purchase our own personal data centres to cope with the data sizes of the recordings.
Ouch!
The standard is still 1080, however a lot watch this content on smaller devices, so all that extra effort would just go to waste.
Are you just flexin' that you have a 4K monitor?
Hmmm.....maybe it's time for me to update from 640x480.
