A note with Blender 4.3 on the cylinderical solidify step yielding non-manifold geometry

If anyone else runs into this, you may be able to fix it with setting Mode to 'Complex', which seems to have been added somewhere along the way. I was getting some weird non-manifold geometry after the solidify modifier step (though Extrude worked fine), and setting the Mode seems to have resolved it.

    I am not sure what you mean here; It sounds like you are saying that a Solidify Modifier resulted in non-Manifold Geometry. If that is the case, I'd suspect that you have some Mesh problems, that would need to be fixed.
